Gemfrance.com was created in 2003 by Laurent SIKIRDJI after 15 years of activity as a gemstones trader and several years as professor in geology in universities and graduate schools.
As a doctor in Geology, his scientific capabilities permit him to detect and exclude enhanced gems. The selection that he offers is chosen for its strict standards in both the flawlessness of the gems and the high quality of the cutting. Laurent travels the world looking for the most beautiful gems, meteorites, golden nuggets and crystals to offer to his customers, in accordance with Gemfrance policy: "Only the finest".
Gemfrance is ICA member. (International Colored Gemstone Association).
Dr Laurent SIKIRDJI is the Ambassador of ICA in France.
ICA is a non profit organisation gathering dealers in gemstones, cutters, owners of mines, gemmological schools, laboratories and any people working in the gemstone industry or for the gemstone promotion.
