Discovered in 1961 by Anderson & Al.
Mineral with radioactivity and metamicte.
Locality of discovery: Ehiliyagoda (Ehaliyagoda), Ratnapura, Sabaragamuwa, Sri Lanka.

Emerald: エメラルド Be3Al2Si6O18
From the Greek "smaragdos" = green stone.
The green variety of the beryl group, whose color is due to the presence of chromium or vanadium. Green beryl not containing either of these elements is not entitled to be called an emerald, but should be referred to as simply « green beryl ».

Etymology: From the Greek "Enstates" = opponent, due to it’s refractive nature.
Discovered in 1855 by Kenngott in The Czech Republic (Berge Zdjar, Moravia).

Locality: Bourg d’Oisans - Dauphiné - Alps - France.

Euclase: ユークレイス BeAlSiO4(OH) Euclase ©Gemfrance.com_ From the Greek "eu" = good et "klasis" = break, because of it’s perfect cleavage.
Discovered in 1792 by the famous French mineralogist Hauy.
