The word \"<\/span>Amethyst\" is coming<\/span> from the Greek \"<\/span>amethystos\", the negative prefix<\/span> \"a\"<\/span> teaming up<\/span> \"<\/span>methustes\" = drunkard<\/span>, as water poured into a<\/span> cup<\/span> purple<\/span> color<\/span> made with amethyst appears<\/span> as with wine<\/span>, allowing not to<\/span> get drunk.<\/span>
\nTherefore<\/span>, amethyst was considered<\/span> in ancient times as<\/span> a talisman<\/span> protecting<\/span> drunkenness.<\/span> Hence<\/span>, by extrapolating<\/span> the<\/span> benefits of<\/span> amethyst<\/span> properties<\/span> on the liver<\/span> attributed<\/span> by some<\/span> ...<\/span><\/p>\n

Amethyst<\/span> belongs to the family<\/span> of<\/span> quartz (<\/span>SiO2).<\/p>\n
