For each month there is a gemstone called birthstone. For September the birthstone is the sapphire.<\/p>\n

The sapphire exists in all the colors of the rainbow.<\/p>\n

The sapphire is one of the four precious gemstones as diamond, ruby sapphire and emerald.<\/p>\n

As ruby, the sapphire belongs to the corundum family.<\/p>\n

The most famous blue sapphires are coming from Kashmir, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. But they are also huge sapphires in other countries as Madagascar.<\/p>\n

The rarest sapphires is the Padparadscha sapphire, from Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
